We have been sending out newsletters since mid-April to all paid members of GVR Cycling.  We wanted the newsletters to be more widely available to potential new members, so we added a new page to the website.  In the menu, however over NEWS and you'll see a drop-down for Newsletters.

If you have information to submit for upcoming newsletters, please email it to gvrcycling@gmail.com.

A few Early Adopters needed:

GVCC has several communication channels.
  • The GVCC website (under construction) will serve as a central site for static information.
  • Emails to interested cyclists will be sent out during the week before, and the week after meetings.
  • GVCC meetings provide a monthly opportunity to connect with other cyclists.
  • The GVCC collaboration site is called GroupWorks. It provides members with a safe space to interact. Right now we need people willing to join us on the GroupWorks platform to test the functionality for good fit with our needs.
GroupWorks Pilot Test – Would you like to interact with other members about events, ideas, or news?  Are you an early technology adopter? Would you like to control how often you get emails from the club and manage your own breaks from club emails when you’re out of town? Would you like to have a voice in evaluating how well a technology fits our group and how it should or shouldn’t be used?

If you answered yes to any or all of these questions, please join the pilot program for implementing the GroupWorks club management software.
Click on this link to a form.
  1. You’ll be asked to provide the following information:  First name, last name, email address, and GVR # and to select all the sub-groups you’d like to be part of including: Roadrider-faster, Roadrider-slower, MountainBiker, Females only, BikeMechanics.
  2. You’ll receive an email from gvrcyclingclub@gmail.com with helpful information for using GroupWorks.
  3. You’ll receive an email from GroupWorks inviting you to join the GV Cycling Club and create a profile.
  4. We'll be running the pilot until we get enough feedback to determine whether the app fits our needs. We'd like to make that decision by late January, 2020.
