Our GVR Cycling website received a question from a non-member who thought we might have some expertise to share. Click on Comment and then type in your helpful hints- make sure you include your name.  Here's her question:

I'd like to start riding again after MANY years. I doubt I'll ever be up to the level of being able to join your group, but wondering if someone could guide me in how/where to buy a women's 26" comfort bike for casual riding in parking lots and easy trails.

Thank you!
Suzy

I think your best bet would be a bike shop. During these limited contact days, you can probably make an appointment to shop. Our local Green Valley Bike Hub is great, and I also like Ajo bikes in Tucson.
If you like heavier bikes, like cruisers, consider getting an e-bike. My husband, Paul Osika, keeps borrowing my ebike to get out to the new GVR Pickleball Center.
